Privacy Notice

Bridge is operated by Harborne Gate Ltd. This notice explains how Bridge handles personal information and the choices available to you.

Who controls your information

Harborne Gate Ltd is the data controller for Bridge. Before a wider commercial launch, Harborne Gate Ltd should add its registered company number, registered office and a dedicated privacy email to this notice. Current users can exercise download and deletion controls from Account Settings and can contact the company through the support channel by which they received access to Bridge.

Information Bridge handles

  • Account information, including name, email and authentication records.
  • Content deliberately shared with a connected partner, including check-ins, priorities, appreciations, Clear the Air conversations, gift ideas, important dates and memories.
  • Photos uploaded to private relationship memory storage.
  • Health-related information only when a user voluntarily chooses “Physically unwell” and gives explicit consent.
  • Technical security records needed to operate and protect the service.
  • Anonymous page-usage analytics only after the user chooses “Allow analytics”.

Why information is used

Account and relationship-space data is used to provide the service requested by users. Security and limited operational records are used to protect Bridge and prevent misuse. Optional analytics is used only with consent. Health-related check-ins are processed only after explicit consent and solely to share the requested support need with the connected partner.

Who can see it

Shared relationship content is visible to the two connected accounts while their connection is active. If either person pauses the connection, Bridge hides the shared space from both accounts until one requests reconnection and the other approves it. Users should only share information they are comfortable showing their partner. Harborne Gate Ltd uses service providers including Supabase for authentication, database and storage, and Vercel for hosting. OpenAI is contacted only if an AI feature is enabled and used; hidden or unavailable AI tools do not send content.

Health and other sensitive information

Health information receives additional protection. It is optional, is not used for advertising or affiliate suggestions, and is not used to diagnose, score or profile a person. Consent can be withdrawn in Account Settings. Users can also delete their own health-related check-ins.

Retention and deletion

Information is kept while an account or shared space remains active or paused, unless it is deleted sooner. Pausing preserves the shared history but prevents either partner from accessing it. Users can delete many items individually, download their data, permanently delete a shared space or delete their account. Harborne Gate Ltd should document backup deletion periods before commercial launch.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may provide rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, receive portable data and withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent does not make earlier processing unlawful. Users may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Children

Bridge is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not designed for children.

Changes

Material changes will be shown in Bridge and the date above will be updated. This notice should receive professional legal review before commercial launch.
